Presidency University has stated 2024 admission. For BTech admission, JEE Main session 2 result has been declared by the NTA. Presidency University BTech admissions are done based on JEE Main/COMEDK/KCET scores.

Presidency University, established in 2013 in Yelahanaka, Bangalore, is a private university founded by the Presidency Group of Institutions (PGI). The group comprises eight schools, four colleges, and a university offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fields such as Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Management, Law, Design, Commerce, Information Science and Media Studies.

Presidency University has received accreditation from NAAX with an  'A+' grade and has AICTE approval for its MBA courses. Presidency University Bangalore course list includes B.Tech, B.Des, BA LLB, M.Tech, MBA, LLM, and PhD programmes.

Presidency University Bangalore admission is based on candidates' performance in several entrance exams. Some of the entrance exams accepted by the university are JEE Main, COMED-K, KCET, CAT, XAT, CLAT, LSAT, TANCET, etc. Presidency University scholarships are granted based on academic performance and to those with an economically disadvantaged background.

The Presidency University Bangalore placement cell serves as an intermediary between students and recruiters, organising workshops, seminars, and internship opportunities. The university boasts a diverse list of recruiters, including Axis Bank, Justdial, Flipkart, Kotak Life, PWC, Microsoft, TCS, and more.

Presidency University Bangalore's campus offers a wide range of facilities, including separate hostels, auditoriums, laboratories, a gym, sports facilities, a medical centre, and a canteen.

Scholarship for Law students

Scholarship based on merit and other category:

1. Students with 70% and above marks in 12th/PU, Will get scholarship of Rs 20000 

2. Qualified students in entrance exam (CLAT/LSAT), Will get scholarship of Rs 20000 

3. Students related to Defense or ex defense background with min. 50% marks in 12th/PU, will get scholarship of Rs 20000 on annual tuition fees or less whichever is applicable 

4. Students related to Police background with min. 50% marks in 12th/PU, will get scholarship of Rs 20000 on annual tuition fees or less whichever is applicable 

5. Students related to Kendriya Vidyalaya with min. 60% marks in 12th/PU, will get scholarship of Rs 20000 on annual tuition fees or less whichever is applicable 

Note-Scholarship is applicable for 1st year only on the above mentioned fees.

Scholarship for Management students 

Scholarship based on merit: 

1. Students with 70% and above marks in graduation will get the scholarship of Rs 20000

2. Students with (90 Percentile in MAT / 70 percentile in CAT/XAT) will get scholarship of Rs 20000

Scholarship for Ph.D. students

Eligibility criteria:

Master's Degree or any equivalent professional degree along with a good academic record and a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) 

OR 

M.Phil. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale in the M.Phil. Program.

For Science & Humanities and Management Ph.D. program, candidates must be qualified in NET SLET SET, as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for award of M.Phil. Ph.D. Degrees) Regulations, 2017 

Scholarship details:

Presidency University Research Fellowship: Rs 20000 per month for the first two years and Rs 24000 per month for the third year.

Presidency University Bangalore library is well-stocked with numerous collections of books, reports, journals, and periodicals. It also provides access to the best of business and management-related digital resources through subscriptions to various databases consisting of scholarly and industry-relevant content. Students use these services for their projects and further research.

Roomy and air-conditioned lecture classrooms and conference halls are equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities to strengthen the learning experience. Conference halls that accommodate large groups are often used for seminars and meetings. Presidency University also offers various banking facilities on campus. Everyone in the campus can use the ATM to access their bank accounts for cash withdrawals.

Library: Presidency University Bangalore has 15 high end systems for the learning community to read various e-resources such as e-journals, e-books, and databases such as Pro Quest and NPTEL lectures. Soon, the university will also have a Data Centre, to cater the IT needs.

Cafeteria: Presidency University Bangalore has a well-established Cafeteria on the campus providing a variety of cuisine including North & South Indian as well as fast food for the benefit of the students and staff. Hygienic food is provided by the cafeteria with wholesome freshly cooked dishes from around the country.

Hostel: Resident students are provided furnished accommodation comprising cot, chair, cupboard, internet wi-fi, etc. Every hostel is provided with their individual dining area and common rooms, TV, etc. The hostel has an indoor games facility as well. During weekends and on holidays transport facility is provided to girl students to go to nearby Yelahanka new town for shopping. The hostel is provided on a first come first served basis. Rooms at the hostel cannot be changed once allotted.

Sports Complex: It is the firm belief of the university’s Sports Department that the mind exercises with your body too. The important co-curricular activities is sports besides academics in all educational institutions. A wide range of indoor and outdoor sports activities are available for the students at the Presidency University so that they can have an all-round development. Soon, there will be a well-equipped gymnasium coming up. All the games have international standards equipment which is accessible to all the students. Labs: The university has two computing centers along with two specialized high-performance servers which are added feathers to the university's learning architecture. In addition to that, the Centre has around the clock Wi-Fi connection and provides connectivity to the administrative blocks, academic blocks, library, and other buildings of the campus. The Computing Centre is also equipped with language lab software called the “Glob arena” e-mentoring system. It helps the students to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills apart from strengthening their grammar and vocabulary.
